Pravin Waghmare, Founder and CEO
Pravin set up Prescient Technologies in Dec 2000. He has completed his masters in mechanical engineering from IIT Mumbai and has close to two decades of experience in software industry. Before starting Prescient, Pravin worked with Tata Motors and Geometric Software. At Geometric he worked on geometry, topology, algorithms and contributed to the development of I-deas software. Pravin has a great passion for solving complex algorithmic problems. Some of his work includes breakthrough algorithms in the area of point cloud to mesh, cad translation image processing etc. He continues to be a mentor and a driving force at Prescient.

Vinayak Lele, Chief Technology Officer
Vinayak is a mechanical engineer by training and has completed his masters in System Science and Automation from IISc Bangalore. He has over 14 years of experience in software industry. Before joining Prescient in 2004, he has worked with Tata Motors and Geometric Software. At Geometric, he has worked on ACIS kernel development, on various modules like Advanced Surfacing, Local Operations. He was the lead designer in developing complete end user application for Architectural domain. He has a passion for the cutting edge technologies and algorithms.

Ram Deshpande, Vice President Sales and Marketing
Vice President Sales and Marketing Ram leads the Sales and Marketing at Prescient Technologies. He has completed his masters in mechanical engineering from IISc Bangalore (Gold Medalist). He has more than a decade of experience in CAD industry. He has had an excellent career in software development at PTC, SDRC and UGS. Ram has developed complex algorithms in fillet for I-deas. He has played a key role in the I-deas to NX feature based translator effort at UGS. Ram recently completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, adding business skills to his technology skills.
